From this weekend’s races at Valencia, Tiago Monteiro, Andrea Barlesi and Fernando Monje will all switch from the SEAT León TDi cars they had used at Monza in the season’s opening meeting, to SUNRED León 1.6T machines.
The three drivers will make a further switch to SEAT León WTCC cars as soon as the new 1.6 litre turbo engine, internationally homologated by SEAT Sport, will be available for their cars too.
The SUNRED cars have been allocated a minimum weight of 1150 kg, including the driver, plus 20 kilos of ballast as per art 10 B) of the Sporting Regulations.
