Sonderegger sidelined after crash
"He suffers from an aching back"
Wiechers-Sport’s Urs Sonderegger did not take part in today’s qualifying session for the consequences of a crash during the second free practice, when he missed the braking point at turn 1.
The Swiss driver was taken to the hospital and underwent medical checks.
“He is all right and the doctors cleared him for tomorrow’s races. However he suffers from an aching back and therefore he wants to wait until tomorrow morning to see whether he feels like racing or not,” team manager Dominik Greiner explained.
