Same weight for Chevrolet and Honda

For the next event at Shanghai the Honda Civic cars will run on the maximum weight, with 40 kilos of compensation weight on board, just like the Chevrolet Cruze.

The Chevrolet remains the reference car, however following the winning performances in USA and Japan, the Honda will be given the same weight for the third time during the current season. The same happened for the events at the Salzburgring and Moscow Raceway.

The other vehicles that regularly compete in the championship – BMW 320 TC, LADA Granta and SEAT León – will all benefit from a reduction of 20 kilos of the minimum weight.

As for the normally aspirated model cars that joined the series in Japan – BMW 320si and Chevrolet Cruze LT – they will keep on running on the minimum weight; the calculation for the compensation weight will apply for them only for the next event at Macau.

The Volvo C30 that will join only for the event in China, will not receive compensation weight, but a ballast of 20 kilos as per article 10b) of the sporting regulations.
