José María López isn’t the first driver to celebrate winning the FIA World Touring Car Championship three years in a row.
Between 2005 and 2007 it was Andy Priaulx who ruled supreme, the BMW driver winning the title in the first three years of the WTCC’s revival.
This is the Briton heading to his third race victory of the 2007 season in Macau and it was actually his fourth title in a row, having won the ETCC in 2004.
