Magalhães takes last-gasp win!

Bruno Magalhães has won Sata Rallye Açores following a dramatic finish to the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier.

He started the final stage 6.4 seconds behind Jan Kopecký but took the lead when the Czech driver went off the road four kilometres from the end of the stage.

Stage winner Kris Meeke made up for a frustrating rally by taking second place with Juho Hänninen salvaging some pride for Škoda in third.

Magalhães, who had never won an IRC event, becomes the sixth different winner of the season.
