Kozlovskiy will start his season from the second round in Morocco
Like Arnie, Kozlovskiy will be back in the WTCC
Mikhail Kozlovskiy will be in Argentina this week for the opening round of the 2015 FIA World Touring Car Championship. However, the rising Russian star won’t be chasing on-track success.
Delays readying his LADA Vesta TC1 for WTCC Race of Argentina mean Kozlovskiy will be at Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo in the role of spectator only. However, like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1984 movie The Terminator, it’s very much a case of “I’ll be back” for the LADA SPORT ROSNEFT ace.
A statement from the Russian team read: “Mikhail Kozlovskiy will start his season from the second round in Morocco. Due to some delays with parts and a very tight schedule before the early start of the season, the third Vesta is still undergoing a manufacturing process. However, Mikhail will fly to Argentina to take part in promo events ahead of the WTCC season-opener in Termas de Río Hondo.”
While Kozlovskiy won’t be in action in Argentina, his team-mates Rob Huff and James Thompson will be giving the all-new LADA Vesta TC1 its competition debut.
