Hunt and Durant in good spirits following Sliven crash
Durant was transferred to hospital
Following their accident on stage 11 of the Mabanol Sliven Rally today, Harry Hunt and co-driver Robbie Durant were taken to hospital in Sliven for precautionary checks.
Durant was subsequently transferred to hospital in Plodiv where he underwent further checks on a back injury, which will require surgery either tonight or tomorrow.
Hunt, who was passed fit following checks, accompanied Durant on the journey to Plodiv and both are in good spirits. They are expected to fly home to the United Kingdom in the next few days.
Menya Krózser and co-driver György Papp were uninjured when they crashed on the 12th stage of the event.
