Hänninen scores stage victory

Juho Hänninen has halted Jan Kopecký’s sequence of stage wins by topping the times on the 11.71-kilometre Semetin stage in his factory Škoda Fabia Super 2000 Facelift.

Hänninen ran first through the rain hit stage and capitalised on the cleaner road surface to go 5.2s faster than team-mate Kopecký, whose overall lead has now been trimmed to one second heading into the 29.09-kilometre Troják stage.

Thierry Neuville dropped out of seventh place when he hit trouble in his Team Peugeot Belgium-Luxembourg 207 Super 2000.
