Hänninen moves into joint lead

Juho Hänninen has moved joint top of the Sata Rallye Açores leaderboard by going fastest on the 8.42-kilometre Achada das Furnas stage.

Bruno Magalhães, who was second fastest after reporting making one or two mistakes, now shares the lead with the factory Škoda driver with six stages of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge event remaining.

Jan Kopecký is now 11.8s off the lead after dropping a few seconds when he braked too late for a corner and slid into a bush.

Kris Meeke has moved ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen for fourth despite running first on the road.
