Chevrolet and Honda on same weight
For the next races at the Salzburgring
Following the fourth event that took place last week at Budapest’s Hungaroring, the Honda Civic cars will be allocated the maximum compensation weight for the next races at the Salzburgring.
For the first time this season, according to the calculation of the compensation weight based on the lap times set in Morocco, Slovak Republic and Hungary, the Honda Civic and Chevrolet Cruze will run on the same weight in Austria, both laden by 40 extra kilos. The Japanese cars carried 30 kg at the Hungaroring.
Performance in Budapest also resulted in an increase of weight for the SEAT León and BMW 320 TC cars. The Spanish machines will receive 20 kilos of compensation weight in Austria (+ 10 compared to Hungary), while the German ones will run on the minimum weight of 1150 kg (+ 20 compared to Hungary).
Only the LADA Granta cars will benefit again from a 20-kg reduction of their minimum weight.
