Álvaro Parente back to GP2 with Coloni

Alvaro’s Parente talent keeps being recognise in the international motorsport arena and he will be in the next weekend GP2 round, to defend Coloni team’s colours at Spa-Francorchamps.

The Coloni team isn’t strange to Alvaro Parente, as he raced in the Italian squad colours in some rounds of the GP2 Asia, earlier this year, achieving a podium at Bahrain, something that made his decision to race a lot easier. “I know the team and I think that I’ll have the conditions to try to get some good results. I’m looking forward to return to Spa-Francorchamps and to being able to give some good results to Coloni so I can thank them the trust that the team and the Sponsors have in me”, underlined the Portuguese driver.

Alvaro Parente will replace Alberto Valerio, who is not racing in Spa, and he may will not end the season with the Italian team. “I race in Spa-Francorchamps, after that we will see what happens. I would like to complete the season, but that isn’t on my hands”, pointed out the youngster.
