Extra support from Japan for Kobayashi

Sauber Motorsport gets extra support from Japan for Kamui Kobayashi’s home race next weekend in Suzuka. Planex Group and MJ Co. Ltd. will be sponsoring the team for the Japanese Grand Prix. Furthermore, Scalp-D, the manufacturer of hair care products, is expanding its presence on the C29 race cars.

The MJ logos will be displayed on the cars’ sidepods and the drivers’ helmets. The Planex logo will appear on the top of the monocoque.

MJ Co. Ltd. has been part of the Planex Group since 2007 and provides services in the financial sector, including foreign exchange trading and asset management. MJ Co. Ltd. was established in 1971 and has capital of 980 million Yen.

Katsuaki Kubota, CEO of Planex Holding, says: “As a Japanese company, it’s such an honour to sponsor the BMW Sauber F1 Team and Kamui Kobayashi, who has been representing Japan with an impressive fighting spirit.”

Kamui Kobayashi adds: “It’s nice to welcome a Japanese sponsor at my home race. I will do my best to make my team, my fans and the Planex Group happy with an exciting race to remember.”

Scalp-D

Scalp-D, the Japanese shampoo brand, has been a partner of Peter Sauber’s team since the start of the season. The Scalp-D logo is displayed on the cars’ rear wing endplates. At the Japanese Grand Prix the logo will also be added to the sides of the monocoques and the helmet visors.

Scalp-D is a complete range of hair care products and is particularly prominent in the medical hair treatment sector. The product has been on the market since March 2005.
