Ferrari scrap shakedown plans

Freezing weather conditions have again forced Ferrari to abandon the planned shakedown of the new F10 challenger at Fiorano.

The new car, unveiled at the team’s headquarters yesterday, was scheduled for a 100km run with Felipe Massa behind the wheel in order to conduct filming for the team’s sponsors.

Ice and snow cover the run off areas at Fiorano and the team opted not to gamble running the car in the conditions and instead focus on preparing the car for its debut on Monday in Valencia.
