Spa: Car weights do not change
The Citroën C-Elysée remains the reference model
According to the calculation of the Compensation Weight based on the three previous events –Slovakia, Austria and Russia – the Citroën C-Elysée remains the reference model and receives the maximum compensation weight of 60 kg in addition to the minimum weight of 1100 kg.
Because the time gap between the French cars and their closest competitors Honda Civic and Chevrolet RML Cruze remained of 0.7 seconds, both the Civic and the Cruze models will carry again 20 kilos of handicap weight.
Only the LADA Granta cars will keep on running with no compensation weight added.
Compensation weight Spa-Francorchamps:
+ 60 kg : Citroën C-Elysée
+ 20 kg: Chevrolet RML Cruze, Honda Civic
± 0 kg : LADA Granta
