Hockenheim post qualifying penalties

Following today’s qualifying session at Hockenheim, three drivers have been given grid penalties for tomorrow’s feature race.

Takuya Izawa was found guilty of impeding Raffaele Marciello at Turn 13 and thus received a 3 grid place penalty. The ART Grand Prix driver already had a five place penalty carried over from Silverstone Sprint Race.

Johnny Cecotto was also found guilty of impeding Rio Hayranto at Turn 13 and was thus handed with a three place grid penalty as well.

Finally, Haryanto was also given a three grid place penalty after it was found that he had impeded Marciello as well at Turn 13.

As a consequence, Cecotto will start from P10, Izawa will start from P23 and Haryanto will start from P25.
